Monster High Cupid Valentine’s Doll

Coming February 2012, just in time for Valentine's day ~ Monster High CUPID. Her name is supposed to be C. A. Cupid. She is the daughter of Cupid.

She has great pink hair with a halo made out of the top of it, love her bangs! She has white skin that fades to black (similar to Vectra that fades to clear). She has wings made of rib bones and a pouty pink cupid mouth. Pretty blue eyes, pink brows. She has an amazing heart shaped bag plus awesome shoes!
Cupid is wearing a gorgeous corseted dress in pinks, black and white. She is wearing fishnets with hearts all over them (unless the hearts are actually on her skin?).

Moxie Girlz ~ Sophina with Rag Doll (Lalaloopsy/Bitty Buttons)

When I came across this Moxie doll at Toys R Us, I fell in love! Not with the Moxie, she is cute and all but check out that rag doll. Reminds me of Coraline, so cute!

My daughter loves the Moxie dolls, and I prefer them to Bratz. They were released in 2009 by MGA Entertainment, they are similar but distinct from Bratz line of dolls (due to the Mattel lawsuit). The Moxie Girlz were supposed to replace Bratz, but when MGA won (yeah!) the lawsuit, they became a separate line. The line includes Avery, Lexa, Sophina, Bria and several more characters. These dolls are very pretty and have much more modest clothing for tweens.

* Update * MGA Entertainment has released Bitty Buttons, now called Lalaloopsy. This rag doll looks a lot like Crumbs Sugar Cookie.

In 2010, MGA Entertainment came out with a line of Dolls called Lalaloopsy. The dolls are a modern twist on rag dolls, with a tagline of "Sew Magical, Sew Cute". On December 7, 2010, Lalaloopsy had the People's Play Award for large dolls. Originally known as Bitty Buttons, the story behind them is that they were made out of a special fabric (Crumbs Sugar Cookie was made from a bakers apron, for example) and when the last stitch was sewn, they magically came to life. There will be limited editions for Target, Toys "R" Us, and Walmart.

You can find Sophina on Amazon, overpriced but you can't find her anymore at stores: Moxie Girlz Basic Dollpack - Sophina
